You know, the last time we had a special guest, I think I said something along the lines of “we should stop calling them ’special’ if we’re going to have one every week!” Well, I jinxed us with that proclamation, as we haven’t had a guest post since that time (I think). But Joon’s back, and he’s got a fun puzzle for us today. He actually dropped a little hint about a word he was going to use in the comments a while back, so if you’ve been paying attention, you might have a slight advantage. I remember the comment and I remember what he wanted to do but … it didn’t really help me all that much. I noticed one of the crossings was unusual, but couldn’t make much of it. You’ll see.

Is it really December already? Man, time to start the Christmas shopping and such. Out here in L.A., we don’t really get help from the weather to clue us in to what month it is. Yeah, it’s a little chillier than last month, and the sun sets earlier, but … December? Wow.
